History Behind the Tour
Jodi's water skiing experience spans more than 30 years, during which time he has competed and won many local, regional, national and international water ski titles including 3 World Cup Tour Championships. Along with competing, Jodi has also coached thousands of students. As a student of the sport for most of his life, Jodi has accumulated a great deal of experience and knowledge to share with skiers of all ages and levels.
After coaching at many ski schools during his apprenticeship years and then being the primary training partner for Andy Mapple for 11 years, Jodi ventured on to open his own school, Jodi's Ski Skool. He still loves to compete and coach this great sport at all levels. In the summer months between competing Jodi has traveled the world to hold many international coaching clinics.
Taking Jodi's Ski Skool on the Road
With the world dealing with the recent downturn in the economy, traveling to a ski school has became a luxury that many water ski enthusiasts can no longer fit into their current budgets. Thus, in 2010 Jodi decided it was time to take Jodi's Ski Skool Experience to the skiers and clubs out there who are still hungry to learn more, improve, and increase their fun and family time in the wonderful sport of water skiing.
The 2011 On Location Tour season will span mid-May through August and possibly into September depending on the demand from sites in areas that experience longer summer seasonal weather.
